Poppy Fields of Pain

This particular piece has alot of meaning and symbology behind it. However, it is pretty straight foward.

A girl sits on a swing as she looks out over a beautiful but deadly field of poppies, the source of her pain and anguish. The tire swing symbolizes childhood. Something she longs to have again but knows that she can never go back to the innocent child she once was. Her arms are scarred and bruised, a constant reminder of what she has become. In the calm blue sky beyond, a storm is brewing on the horizon. Relentless and cruel, destroying everything in its path. Symbolizing the grim, inevitable outcome if she does not change her ways.
